Nope not talking about how well my diet is going in this post. I'm talking about a missing weight, and where it was found. Back in High School as part of my one song and exercise thing exercise set I got two types of weights. 1lbs to do aerobic exercises with and 3lb. for traditional weightlifting. I have daily been exercising in a similar modified version as part of my diet and I mentioned before. Recently, I added the 1lb weight aerobics to one song into the mix as I mentioned in the last post.
After a week of waiting out the weather, and Josh checking the garage three times for it, I took Zach out to explore and we found the weights in the garage. I used them once and the next day they were put on the desk. The next morning he was "playing" with them. I found one but the other one was missing, for a week.
I ordered a new set from Modell's and as we all knew would happen found the missing one an hour after the new set arrived, in Zach's Thomas Ride on (pictured in a couple or previous posts). Not in the seat part where you can store balls that pop out the steam pipe when you press a button, but down that pipe part so far I took a screwdriver to Thomas. Eventually, what worked is sticking various long thing things down the hole in the seat where the balls head to the pipe from and pushing the weight out the pipe. In the process of unscrewing though I broke the part that plays music and makes the balls pop. That discovery happened Thursday.
Zach noticed! Zach wasn't happy!! We fortunately were able to replace it today. With a coupon it was reasonable enough were I got him a Henry train for his collection but he won't receive it until he goes potty for Mommy. He hasn't for me yet. He sees the both of them and loves it. The broken one can be used outside when it's nice enough for it. Adventures in parenting.
