Dressed

He's two. That's already been mentioned. He also is at that stage where he's learning how to dress and undress himself. Bad Mommy over here lets him have a pop tart when he first wakes up. To get it, he has to take off his PJ pants and Easy Up. He's done that since April. Through May, he's practiced putting his pants on too. His shirt is tricky but he can do it with help. Either way you slice it, he likes to get dressed.

Knowing that, we almost got him boy dress up cloths for his birthday. We'll save them for Christmas most likely so he can be entertained all winter. He can play dress up with his real cloths (and mine and Josh's apparently) in the meantime. As of this week he can put shoes on by himself (just not the Velcro part) but he does them on opposite feet. The word adorable comes to mind.

As he does this I find myself already thinking of a possible Halloween costume. You can't beat the leaf pile he was last year. It's probably my last year choosing for him before he wants to be some sort of athlete or super hero. So overdone but it's what kids like. As a baby he was a scarecrow.

Scarecrow almost 5 months old

Leaf pile almost 17 months
As you can see being a big season/month/holiday person I have a theme going. Unfortunately, the other fall things are hard to do for easy to walk/carry in, no hats (he'll wear it a while but if a hat is part of the costume it'll ruin the effect when he takes it off) and something comfortable. I'll think of something.

This morning, Zach brought his rain jacket over and had me put it on him, over his PJ shirt. Another adorable moment. Jackets/Coats are easier to master then shirts. Except the zipper. He needed my help with that part.

Pardon the stickers. I had them in my backpack from tutoring in college as rewards and had forgotten they were there. He found them and I didn't see any harm in him playing with them. He still has the one on his left cheek. Hey Zach, Pop is coming time to get "dressed" (Zach says that part while he runs to get his toothbrush).
