Q Theory

 QAnon hit fast and hard. All of it around the time Mueller's Russia investigation started. Some mysterious "Q" created this since debunked but, still believed conspiracy theory about Hillary Clinton, sex, and kids at this DC pizza parlor. 

No one knows who Q is. But, all you have to do is watch the Marvel movies "The Avengers Age of Ultron" and "Captain America Civil War" to figure out what is happening. In both, the villain tries to end the Avengers forever by tearing them apart from the inside. Meaning, finding ways for them to turn against each other. 

That's what's happening with QAnon. Created by Russia, it is turning the country sharply against each other. It's not even about republican vs democrat. It's about white supremacy vs equality. This is a brainwashed cult that believes literally everything they are told no questions asked. 

That includes today, March 4th. They believe that today is the true inauguration day and Trump will be inaugurated today. He isn't. They will keep coming up with days and they will all fall apart. Sort of like that year that one day in May was supposed to be the day the world ended. Yeah, the world didn't end. 

Why Russia? Well, isn't this their thing? The are also the one with the motivation because of the investigation. "Tear your enemy apart from the inside" sounds very KGB to me! I don't know if Q is a real person working on behalf of the Russian government or a Russian bot. But, as Mueller's investigation found, they are not subtle about wanting to destroy the United States. 

Why use a nuclear weapon when it's apparently really easy to get some Americans to turn on the rest of the country? They think so little of Americans that something so out of this galaxy absurd would be so easily believed. It turns out they are right. There really are a large number of Americans that are that gullible, conspiracy minded, fact adverse, and stupid. 

They are blindly and enthusiastically following this letter with no identifiable source. Why aren't any of them saying, "I want to know who this is before I decide to believe them." But, they prefer alternative facts. So, Q is making up alternative facts. If these people required evidence before believing. Then Russia wouldn't be succeeding at breaking this country up from the inside. Like Ultron from "The Avengers Age of Ultron" and Zemo from "Captain American Civil War". 

This is why facts matter. How do we stop Russia from succeeding in tearing us apart and ending American democracy? The only real way is for Republicans to denounce the QAnon movement. Unlikely since these are currently the voters most republicans are courting. What could get them to change their minds? An investigation into the actual source of who started this QAnon movement in the first place. AG Garland is likely up to the task. Once I have been proven right, these Q followers look foolish. Some of them might even be able to be considered Traitors and/or having committed Treason. Suddenly, the lawmakers will change course and American Democracy can rebuild. I don't see that happening just yet.
